poets and beguines, women in response

In a closed universe where silhouettes, writings and visual art combine, a trio of a capella operatic singing, contemporary dance, and percussion sketches out a picture of the beguines.

Through these women, breath and movement more widely evoke the person who, constrained for various reasons into confinement and silence, enters into resilience, and faced with her truth, chooses to position herself. She thus becomes a being of response: a force of proposal and creation, an open dialogue.

The path here is poetry, together with social innovation and individuation.
It presents everyone, whether a woman, a dissenter, an outsider, or a foreigner, with the ever relevant question of making a matrix out of mud, and an instrument of freedom out of constraint.
